On September 29, 2018, five-year-old Aria Maresca and her infant sister, Julia, disappeared from San Pedro, California. The two were allegedly abducted by their mother, Gina Maria Maresca. At the time of her disappearance, Aria was described as a biracial female with light brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and gray sweatpants. Her sister, Julia, was only four months old.
Authorities issued a felony warrant for kidnapping for Gina Maresca on October 14, 2018. It is believed that she is concealing the children. Gina Maresca was 37 years old at the time of the incident and has brown hair and brown eyes. They may be traveling in a white 2016 Nissan Rogue with California license plate number 7MLH868.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is involved in the case, under case number 1352331. Age-progressed photos have been released to show what Aria and Julia might look like as they have gotten older.
