Matusalem Stoian, a young boy, was last seen on December 29, 2022, in Anaheim, California. At the time of his disappearance, he was one year old, having been born on April 29, 2021. He is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, Matusalem stood at 2 feet 6 inches tall and weighed 22 pounds.
Matusalem is believed to be in the company of his non-custodial parents, Madalina Paun and Claudiu Rafael Stoian.
His sister, Amalia Stoian, is also missing and was last seen with him. The parents are reportedly concealing the children. Authorities have expressed concern for the children's welfare, although they do not believe them to be in immediate danger.
The disappearance of Matusalem and his sister is complicated by the legal issues surrounding their parents. Madalina Paun and Claudiu Stoian are wanted in connection with various robberies in the Los Angeles area. They allegedly operated by driving around with their children and approaching pedestrians to "bless" their valuables, which they would then swap with fake items. In at least one instance, Claudiu Stoian allegedly brandished a firearm. The Long Beach Police Department is the point of contact for any information regarding the whereabouts of the Stoian children.Last Seen: Dec 29, 2022
