On September 5, 2023, then 16-year-old Perpetua Joy Bushey, along with her three younger siblings, vanished from their home in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The disappearance of Perpetua and her siblings, Ava, then 7, Ezekiel, 13, and Justice, 12, was discovered when a welfare check was conducted at their residence, but the family could not be found.
