In the late summer of 2025, concern grew for a 16-year-old girl from Suffolk, Virginia, named Ashlyn Arnold. On September 4th, she was seen getting into a silver SUV in the 100 block of Hall Avenue and did not return to her residence. Ashlyn was described as a white female with brown hair and hazel eyes, standing approximately five-foot-ten inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. A noticeable scar was present on her left arm. Just over a month later, the community was once again alerted to Ashlyn's disappearance. On October 5, 2025, she was reported as having run away from her home in the 200 block of Republic Lane.
