On October 13, 2025, a two-month-old infant named Colin Ortiz and his 17-year-old mother, Kristina Ortiz, were reported missing from Brooklyn, New York. The pair were last seen leaving a shelter on Dean Street in the Crown Heights neighborhood just before noon.
