Kanesha Degruy was 17 years old when the Thibodaux Police Department began investigating her disappearance on Thursday, October 23, 2025. According to police, she was a juvenile from the Lafourche Parish Juvenile Justice Center, and investigators learned that she had left the facility before being seen getting into a gray Ford Mustang nearby.
