Police responded to a welfare check at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2024, at a residence on Great Road in Stow, Massachusetts. According to authorities, 20‑year‑old Shane Curry, who resided there with 17‑year‑old River Nevaeh Goddard, refused entry to officers for nearly two hours. When police finally entered the home, they discovered Goddard’s body inside.
