Paulino Norberto Del Mundo Japor Jr., a 59-year-old transgender woman from the Philippines, was last seen on September 15, 2019, at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. A naturalized U.S. citizen residing in Tampa, Florida, where she worked as a certified nursing assistant, Del Mundo Japor had traveled to Dallas with the intention of taking a connecting American Airlines flight to Cozumel, Mexico, for a ten-day vacation.
She was seen carrying a shoulder bag and a yellow and gray rolling suitcase.
On the evening of her disappearance, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Del Mundo Japor contacted her sister in California. During the call, she expressed a change of heart about her trip to Mexico and requested assistance in booking a return flight to Tampa. Her family noted that she sounded "depressed" and "incoherent" during their conversation, raising concerns about her mental state. It has also been reported that she was recovering from rotator cuff surgery and was experiencing physical pain.
Del Mundo Japor never boarded her flight to Cozumel, nor did she ever return to Tampa. An extensive review of the airport's security footage revealed that at some point, she was no longer in possession of her rolling suitcase, carrying only her shoulder bag. Neither her suitcase nor her shoulder bag have been located. Her last confirmed sighting was on camera in a warehouse district near the airport at 3701 S. 20th Ave. Since she vanished, there has been no activity on her cellular phone or bank accounts. Her case remains unsolved and is being treated as an endangered missing person case.Last Seen: Sep 15, 2019
