In the early morning hours of August 16, 2012, a silver four-door Nissan Altima was found abandoned on the Megler Bridge in Astoria, Oregon. The vehicle, with Washington license plates, was discovered by the Astoria Police at 3:24 a.m. with its emergency lights flashing and the keys still in the ignition.
