In the summer of 2021, Sean Charles Lee Luberger, a devoted father, brother, and uncle from Willoughby, Ohio, embarked on a short trip that would ultimately become his last. His ex-wife eventually filed a missing person report with the Willoughby Police Department, officially setting in motion an investigation into his baffling disappearance. At the time he went missing, Sean was described as being 5'10" to 6'0" tall, weighing around 200-220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He sometimes wore prescription glasses and had a distinctive scar under his left eye, along with several tattoos. The search for Sean yielded a significant but troubling clue nearly a month after he was last seen. On July 24, 2021, his maroon 2003 Chevrolet Tracker was discovered abandoned in a parking lot in Akron. It was believed to have been sitting there for weeks. Sadly, the long period of not knowing came to a solemn end in the early summer of 2024. An obituary was published confirming that Sean Luberger had passed away.
