On July 19, 1990, a concerning letter, postmarked from Albuquerque, New Mexico, was sent to the brother of Robert Ralph Beich in Largo, Florida. This correspondence contained a suicide note, which would be the last known communication from the 46-year-old. At the time of his disappearance, Beich was reportedly struggling with depression stemming from unemployment and health issues. His emotional state was further described as suicidal.
