In the late summer of 2014, a family's life was forever altered when 16-year-old Monte Jabbar Pointzes vanished from Detroit, Michigan. On September 9th of that year, the young African-American male was last seen, and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance were initially clouded with uncertainty.
