In the late summer of 2019, the community around Cotile Lake, Louisiana, was unsettled by the disappearance of one of their own, 62-year-old Paul Stafford Nichols. On August 15th, Mr. Nichols was seen at a Hilger's gas station and convenience store located off Interstate 49 North at the Highway 8 exit in Rapides Parish.
