Richard Shifflet, a 75-year-old resident of Dayton, Nevada, was last seen on October 3, 2022, after leaving his home for a walk. Shifflet, who has experienced health issues such as dementia and strokes, failed to return home, prompting an extensive search by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. Despite deploying search and rescue teams, using drones with heat-seeking technology, and combing areas where Shifflet was known to frequent, no signs of him have been found.
