Jaquarin Demarko Scott, an 18-year-old from Davenport, Iowa, was last seen on March 25, 2017. On that evening, at approximately 6:30 p.m., at least one witness saw Scott on the Centennial Bridge. He was observed throwing his backpack over the bridge, climbing the rail at midspan, and then jumping into the Mississippi River.

    Scott was last seen in Davenport, Iowa on March 25, 2017. At least one witness saw him on the Centennial Bridge. He threw his backpack off the bridge, climbed the rail at midspan, and jumped into the Mississippi River. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at 6:30 p.m. and launched a search. They found Scott's backpack and some personal items, but no sign of Scott himself or his body. He is presumed deceased.
