In the late 1990s, two young brothers, Austin Eugene Bryant and Edward Dylan Bryant, were placed in the foster care of Edward and Linda Bryant in Monument, Colorado. Despite their absence, Edward and Linda Bryant never filed a missing persons report for either of their adopted sons. They continued to collect state benefits for their care, amounting to over $1,700 a month. The dark secret of the boys' disappearance was kept within the walls of their home on Granite Circle, with the other children in the family forbidden to speak about their missing brothers.
