The circumstances surrounding Medina's disappearance are troubling. He was reported missing to the San Jose Police Department on April 24, 2020. The day after his last contact, a friend and co-worker, Benjamin Chavez Reynoso, arrived at Medina's San Jose home driving one of Medina's vehicles.
