Jacsun Six Manson, a six-month-old infant, was last seen in Culver City, California, on November 15, 2018. At the time of his disappearance, Jacsun was residing with his parents, Kianna Williams and Adam Manson, at a shelter for families experiencing homelessness called Upward Bound House. Concerns about Jacsun's living conditions, which included trash, decaying food, and drug paraphernalia in the family's living space, prompted a housing manager to contact the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services. Fearing their son would be taken from them, the couple fled the shelter with Jacsun after learning about the call to DCFS.
On January 3, 2019, Jacsun's parents were located and arrested in a stolen vehicle; however, Jacsun was not with them. The DCFS officially reported Jacsun missing on January 25, after his parents provided conflicting accounts of his whereabouts. The investigation into the infant's disappearance led authorities to believe that Jacsun had died on December 31, 2018. According to Kianna Williams' statement to the police, she and Adam Manson, both of whom were chronic methamphetamine and marijuana users, had been using methamphetamine at a motel in south Los Angeles and awoke to find Jacsun unresponsive. Williams stated they attempted CPR but did not contact authorities for fear of being blamed for his death.
In February 2019, both Adam Manson and Kianna Williams were charged with child abuse resulting in their son's death. Authorities believe that after Jacsun's death, his parents placed his body in a suitcase and disposed of it in a dumpster near the Crenshaw Mall in Los Angeles. This led to an extensive search of the El Sobrante Landfill in Corona, but the infant's remains were never recovered. In September 2019, Manson and Williams pleaded no contest to felony child abuse resulting in death and were each sentenced to six years in prison.
