On July 2, 2001, 32-year-old Tigist Hailu was last seen in Mission Viejo, California. At the time of her disappearance, Hailu was employed as a nanny by a family from the United Arab Emirates. She had traveled with the family to the United States to care for their children during their visit to Mission Viejo.
