In the spring of 2024, the tight-knit community of Tallassee, Alabama, was unsettled by the sudden and mysterious disappearance of 60-year-old Michael Randall Thompson. A familiar and friendly face to many, Thompson was last seen on April 14, 2024, at a family barbecue at his sister's home on Fleahop Road near Eclectic, Alabama.
