Gregory Mcneal, a 56-year-old man from Chicago, was in Richmond Hill, Georgia, on a work assignment with a Houston-based company that cleans highways. He was staying with his work crew at a local hotel, the Home Two Suites. His family describes his disappearance as completely out of character, stating that he was a man who went to work and came home, and had never gone missing before. His work assignment, which had been extended, was scheduled to end just two days after he was last seen. He was reported missing by his boss after he failed to show up for work the day after he was last seen.
The last known sighting of Gregory Mcneal was on the morning of September 16, 2025. Home surveillance video from a residence on Winding Way captured him running through the backyard at approximately 9:00 a.m. The footage shows him heading towards a large, wooded area. His brother, after viewing the images, expressed grave concern, stating that it appeared his brother had suffered trauma to the right side of his face, which looked swollen and bruised. When authorities entered his hotel room, they found all of his personal belongings, including his cell phone, wallet, and other items, left behind. This was particularly alarming to his family, who noted that it is highly unusual for someone to vanish without these essential possessions.
In the wake of his disappearance, the Richmond Hill Police Department launched an investigation.
