In the spring of 2025, concern grew for 38-year-old Stephanie Marie Schofield, a woman known to be experiencing homelessness in the Milwaukie, Oregon area. While she had maintained a pattern of monthly communication with her family through Facebook, all contact abruptly ceased in May of that year. The last time her sisters physically saw her was in early May when they dropped her off at the Park Hamlin Apartments in Milwaukie.
