In the spring of 2025, concern grew for 38-year-old Stephanie Marie Schofield, a woman known to be experiencing homelessness in the Milwaukie, Oregon area. While she had maintained a pattern of monthly communication with her family through Facebook, all contact abruptly ceased in May of that year.
