Petros Krommidas, a 29-year-old Democratic candidate for the Nassau County Legislature, was last seen on the night of April 23, 2025, in Long Beach, New York. According to his family, he had parked his car near the Allegria Hotel and walked onto the beach around 10:30 p.m. to train for an upcoming triathlon.
