Deee'zyrable L. Betts was a 16-year-old Black girl when she was last seen in Johnson City, Tennessee, on March 21, 2023. She was described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Available case information states that she was believed to have left the Johnson City area on foot, but the clothing she was wearing at the time was unknown. No vehicle was associated with her departure, and the limited public details offered no clear explanation of where she intended to go, whom she may have planned to meet, or what happened immediately after she left. Her disappearance was reported to law enforcement the following day, leaving those concerned for her welfare with troubling uncertainty and very few publicly known clues.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated Deee'zyrable's disappearance under agency case number 23-18449, and her information was entered into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System as case MP106042. NamUs serves as a national clearinghouse through which law-enforcement agencies, medical examiners, families, and the public can share and compare information concerning missing-person cases. Tennessee also maintains a Missing Persons Clearinghouse through the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to support local, state, and national efforts to locate missing people. The TBI explains that a missing person may include a child who has left home voluntarily as well as someone who was abducted or otherwise unable to return safely, and it emphasizes that there is no waiting period before a disappearance may be reported. In Deee'zyrable's case, authorities publicly disclosed only that she apparently departed on foot and that her clothing was unknown, so many of the circumstances that might ordinarily help the public understand a disappearance remained private or undetermined.

As the case remained documented, Deee'zyrable's identifying information was circulated so that anyone who had seen her or knew where she had gone could recognize her and provide information. Publicly accessible missing-person listings repeated her age at disappearance, Johnson City as her last known location, her March 21, 2023 last-contact date, and her physical description. The Washington County Sheriff's Office, headquartered in Jonesborough, was the responsible investigating agency. The absence of a known clothing description, transportation record, or detailed account of her final known movements made the investigation especially dependent on personal recollections, communications, witness information, and other evidence available directly to detectives rather than to the general public.

Official case records have since reported that Deee'zyrable was found alive. The precise date, location, and circumstances of her recovery have not been publicly detailed, and it would be inappropriate to speculate about what occurred while she was missing. Her NamUs record was subsequently archived, meaning the disappearance is no longer considered an active missing-person case. The most important outcome is that a teenager whose whereabouts had been unknown was located alive, bringing an end to the uncertainty surrounding her safety. Overall, Deee'zyrable Betts disappeared from Johnson City at age 16 after apparently leaving on foot on March 21, 2023; the Washington County Sheriff's Office investigated despite sparse publicly available details, her case was entered into national missing-person records, and she was ultimately found alive, although the story of how and when she was located has remained largely private.
