On May 17, 2025, 52-year-old Russell Lee Stone was last seen leaving his residence on West Keesler Street in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Surveillance footage captured him walking southeast on West Keesler Street before turning onto East Keesler Street. He was wearing a grey t-shirt, khaki brown shorts, long white socks, and black shoes. He carried a water bottle in one hand and a black duffle bag in the other.
