On the evening of May 1, 2025, a sense of unease settled over a family in Allentown, Pennsylvania, when 17-year-old Machia Myers did not return home. Earlier that day, the female teenager had left her residence, utilizing a ride-sharing service to travel to a local bus terminal. From there, it was believed she may have intended to travel to either Philadelphia or New York.
