In the spring of 2023, a then 15-year-old male named Brian Meraz vanished from Cedar Hill, Tennessee, sparking concern throughout the local community. On the night of April 6, 2023, Brian, a Hispanic teenager with black hair and brown eyes, left the Department of Children's Services state custody in the Springfield area.
