Christopher Frazier Missing Person Case

A recreational outing on the Arkansas River in Pueblo, Colorado, took a tragic turn on June 2, 2014, when 23-year-old Christopher Lynn Frazier went missing. Frazier was enjoying a day of tubing near the Kayak Course when he fell from his inflatable tube into the river at approximately 4:30 p.m. The river's current was reportedly strong at the time, and witnesses saw him floating face down and seemingly unconscious in the water. He was last seen being carried over the spillway near Santa Fe Avenue.

Immediate search and rescue operations were launched by the Pueblo Police Department and other agencies. However, the search for Christopher was complicated by the dangerously high and fast-flowing water of the Arkansas River. At the time, the river was flowing at a rate significantly higher than is typical for that time of year, which made the search efforts particularly challenging. As the water levels eventually receded, authorities and Christopher's loved ones held out hope that he would be found.

Christopher was a white male with blond hair and blue eyes, standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 170 pounds. He had distinctive tattoos, including a bomb or grenade on his forearm and the name 'Maddie' on his abdomen. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing yellow shorts and was shirtless. Despite extensive searches in the days, weeks, and years that have followed, Christopher's remains have never been recovered, and his case remains an active missing person investigation with the Pueblo Police Department. The circumstances of that June day have left his family and the Pueblo community with unanswered questions and a profound sense of loss.
