There was a belief that he might have been in the Oklahoma City area, but no concrete evidence ever surfaced to substantiate this theory. Without any confirmed sightings or transactions, the trail grew cold, leaving his family with more questions than answers and a growing sense of desperation. The investigation into Monty's disappearance was handled by the Oklahoma City Police Department. Despite their efforts, the circumstances surrounding his case remained unclear.
