Darlynn "Lynn" Susan Buehler, a 58-year-old resident of Circleville, Ohio, was last seen by her colleagues on April 1, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. at her workplace in Columbus. Concern grew when she did not return home and could not be reached, which was out of character for her. A wellness check was conducted at her residence two days later, but she was not found. Her vehicle, a burgundy 2013 Ford F-150, was reportedly seen later on the evening of her disappearance, heading south on Ashville Pike near Rickenbacker Parkway. As days turned into weeks with no word from Darlynn, her family, friends, and employer became increasingly worried. The search for Darlynn Buehler led authorities to conduct an extensive investigation. More than a month after she was last seen, law enforcement focused their efforts on a number of ponds in Pickaway County, south of Columbus. On May 7, 2025, their search led to a tragic discovery in a retention pond on Intermodal Court East, near Rickenbacker International Airport. Submerged in the water was Darlynn's Ford F-150. Tragically, her body was recovered from within the vehicle, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene. Darlynn Buehler was remembered as a kind-hearted and generous person who was always willing to help others. A proud veteran of the United States Army and a longtime employee of J.B. Hunt, she had a love for the open road and enjoyed spontaneous adventures like kayaking and canoeing. She was a devoted fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is ongoing. Her passing has left a void in the lives of her family and friends, who will remember her for her warm spirit and the loving memories they created together.
