In August 2023, six individuals, including 25-year-old Ma'Kayla Wickerson and her 3-year-old daughter, Malaiyah, vanished from Florissant, Missouri. The group also comprised Mikayla Thompson, 23; Naaman Williams, 29; Gerrielle German, 26; and her 3-year-old son, Ashton Mitchell. They had been residing together in a rented home in Berkeley, near St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
