On October 28, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded at Niagara Falls involving 33-year-old Chianti Means and her two children, nine-year-old Roman Rossman and five-month-old Mecca Means. Around 9:00 PM, witnesses reported seeing Means and her children cross over a safety guardrail on Luna Island, a small landmass situated between the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.
