Sara Yvonne Griffin, aged 39, was last seen on November 19, 1975, in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She was last seen by her daughter getting into a van driven by an acquaintance of the family. Griffin had a small green suitcase with her and told her daughter that she could not go with them. The acquaintance was known to be aggressive and to carry weapons. Griffin never returned home. Her home was located on what was then Rural Route 1, now part of the "River View" area.
