In the winter of 2024, a sense of concern settled over a Tulsa, Oklahoma community when 64-year-old William Odell Sherman was reported missing. On December 7th, Mr. Sherman, a Black male, was last seen walking away from a residence in the 13000 block of E 32nd Street. His departure from the familiar surroundings of his neighborhood marked the beginning of a period of uncertainty and worry for those who knew him.
