A male, Nickolaus Jon Edwards, age 40, was reported missing from Libby, Montana in mid‑July 2024. Prior to his disappearance, in early 2024 he had been arrested and charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of dangerous drugs—specifically fentanyl and methamphetamine—as well as a misdemeanor count for possession of drug paraphernalia. At arrest, law enforcement recovered multiple bags of suspected methamphetamine and five blue fentanyl pills, and bail was set at $10,000.
