On November 11, 2024, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) initiated a search for 17-year-old Ronan "Tai" Ferriter, who was reported missing from the city's Southside area. Ferriter, diagnosed with autism and PTSD, was last seen by his caretakers around 3:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Belfort Road. He was reported missing approximately an hour later after failing to return to his facility.
