In June of 2023, a 27-year-old woman named Gwendolyn Brunelle embarked on a road trip from her home in Boise, Idaho, a journey from which she would not return. She informed her family that she was traveling to California with some of her show rabbits. The last confirmed sighting of Gwendolyn was on June 27, 2023, at a Sinclair gas station in Jordan Valley, Oregon, a small community nestled in Malheur County.
