On November 1, 2024, 77-year-old Charlotte Rohrer was reported missing from the Brookdale Destin senior living community in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) initiated a search operation in the Mack Bayou area, deploying their Drone Unit and the Walton Correctional K-9 Team to assist in locating her.
