Ruth Louella Jock, aged 31, went missing on January 29, 1950, from her home in Malone, New York. She was last seen at approximately 7:30 a.m. at her residence located at 140 South Williams Street. Her husband, Cecil Jock, reported her missing two days later, on January 31. It was noted that Ruth had left home on two previous occasions, although the circumstances of her prior departures are not well documented.
