In the quiet city of Tiffin, Ohio, concern began to mount for 73-year-old Leonard C. Nye in the late summer of 2024. His family, from whom he was somewhat estranged, grew worried after not hearing from him for several months and officially reported him missing in September of that year. Investigators soon discovered that the last confirmed sighting of Mr. Nye was much earlier, on April 23, 2024.
