Philindz Desir, a 32-year-old male, was last seen in Lehigh Acres, Florida, on July 5, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m. Online missing-person records described his disappearance as beginning with that last known contact in the Lehigh Acres area, after which he was not immediately heard from again. At the time he was reported missing, he was identified as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 174 pounds.
Records also noted a tattoo on his right arm as a distinguishing feature. The limited publicly available information made the case especially difficult for those looking for answers, because the available reports did not describe where he was headed, who he may have been with, what clothing he was wearing, or whether there were any known medical, transportation, or personal circumstances connected to his disappearance.
As the case entered public missing-person databases, the focus remained on confirming Philindz’s whereabouts and encouraging anyone with knowledge of his movements after he was last seen to contact law enforcement. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was listed as the investigating agency, and the case was also reflected in online missing-person resources that compiled identifying details and the known timeline. The information available to the public was sparse, but even a short missing-person notice can represent an urgent and painful period for family, friends, and the wider community. In cases like this, the absence of extensive public detail often means that the most important work is happening through direct reports, agency follow-up, and attempts to verify sightings or contact.
Official reports now indicate that Philindz Desir was found alive, and his case is no longer an active missing-person matter. The exact date and circumstances of his recovery were not clearly available in the online information reviewed, so no specific recovery date can be given. What is known is that Philindz was originally reported missing after being last seen in Lehigh Acres on July 5, 2023, at age 32, and the public record that followed centered on basic identifying information, the last-seen time and place, and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigation. The case began as a concerning disappearance with few public details, but it ended with the most hopeful outcome for a missing-person case: Philindz was located alive.Last Seen: Jul 5, 2023
