In the autumn of 2024, the community of Woodbridge, Virginia, was unsettled by the disappearance of 28-year-old Tyjuan Deon Bowdry. He was last seen near his home on October 2, 2024. Concern grew when his family was unable to get in touch with him, which they described as being highly out of character. The Prince William County Police Department opened a missing person investigation after being alerted to his unusual absence.
