On July 11, 2024, 46-year-old Frederick Clark was last seen in Chinle, Arizona. He was reportedly seen around 10:00 a.m. in a black 2022 Toyota Highlander SUV, at a location approximately 2.5 miles north of the local Church's Chicken. After this sighting, communication from Frederick ceased, and his family, unable to reach him, grew deeply concerned. His disappearance was uncharacteristic, prompting his loved ones to report him missing and initiating an investigation by the Navajo Nation Police Department's Chinle District. Frederick is an American Indian / Alaska Native male, standing between 72 and 73 inches tall and weighing between 215 and 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair, which he kept either bald or very short, and he may have had a short mustache. One of his most distinguishing characteristics is the extensive tattoo work covering much of his body. He has tattoos on his chin and neck, across his entire torso, down both of his arms, and on his left back shoulder. The clothing he was wearing at the time he went missing is unknown, which presented an additional challenge for those searching for him. A significant development in the investigation occurred on July 21, 2024, when Frederick's Toyota Highlander was located in the Flatrock/Nazlini area of Arizona. The vehicle was recovered, but Frederick was not with it, and his whereabouts remained a mystery. The discovery of his abandoned SUV intensified the search and the distress of his family and community. Tragically, the search for Frederick has ended in sorrow. It has since been confirmed that Frederick was located deceased. While his case is now considered closed, further information regarding the specific date or circumstances of his discovery is not publicly available. The overview of this case is one of a sudden disappearance that led to a ten-day search for his vehicle, and a community's hope for a safe return that unfortunately ended with the confirmation of a devastating loss.
