On July 20, 2024, Hans William Munich, a 54-year-old male from Yakutat, Alaska, became the subject of a search after the aircraft he was in never reached its destination. He was a passenger in a 1948 silver Beechcraft Bonanza A35, with tail number N410B, that departed from Gustavus, Alaska, en route to Yakutat.
