In the late summer of 2024, a sense of concern grew in Conroe, Texas, following the disappearance of 17-year-old Aanieyah Burleson. On August 8, 2024, the teenage girl was last seen in the Montgomery County city. At the time she went missing, Aanieyah was described as a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants when she was last seen.
