Tina Louise Bowen, 18, was last seen on July 14, 1997, in Conroe, Texas. She had been at home with her family in the 500 block of Silverdale, where her mother last checked on her around 3:30 a.m. Tina had spoken to her boyfriend earlier that night before going to sleep. By 9:00 a.m., her mother noticed she was missing, with all her belongings, including her purse, left behind in her room. Tina was last seen wearing a light blue Duke University sweatshirt, shorts, and flip-flops.

It is believed that Tina may have left the house voluntarily, possibly after a friend came to her window, as was a common practice. However, her family and authorities suspect foul play due to the sudden and unexplained nature of her disappearance. Her boyfriend, who had failed a polygraph test early in the investigation, was initially considered a suspect, although her family does not believe he was involved in her disappearance.

Despite years of investigation, Tina's case remains unsolved. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Conroe Police Department as her family continues to seek answers.
