Lauren LeFree, a 37-year-old from Homer, Alaska, went missing on August 10, 2024, while working aboard the fishing vessel Faithful in the Icy Strait area, located west of Juneau. She was last seen on the vessel as it traveled between Gull Cove and Mud Bay. Tragically, it is believed that Lauren fell overboard, and she was not wearing a lifejacket at the time of the incident.
