In the months leading up to his disappearance, 44-year-old Oliver Robert Oxenham exhibited increasingly erratic behavior. On June 29, 2024, he was arrested in Collier County, Florida, on charges of disturbing the peace . This incident was followed by another on July 2, 2024, when Oxenham caused a disturbance at Vergina, a restaurant in Naples, leading to his arrest for disrupting the peace .
