Mitchel Weiser, a 16-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, went missing on July 27, 1973, along with his 15-year-old girlfriend, Bonita Bickwit. The couple was last seen hitchhiking along State Route 97 near Narrowsburg, New York. They were on their way to attend the Summer Jam Festival at Watkins Glen, which drew over 800,000 people.
