Phyllis Rome, a 22-year-old woman from Clarksdale, Mississippi, was last seen on June 19, 1993, at approximately 8:00 p.m. at Red’s Night Club on Sunflower Avenue. Rome, who was deaf and mute, was wearing a white shirt, blue polka-dot shorts, blue socks, and white sneakers. She lived nearby on McKinley Street. After leaving the club, she vanished and was never heard from again.
